This here was some of the oldest fiber in my stash, and I think might actually be the first fiber I got via falling for colors in a Ravelry ad.
This is about 8.5 ounces of Polwarth in the colorway Elegant Eggplant from Friends in Fiber. (Lots more good colors there, go check it out!)
I never really had any plans for this, and recently discovered the delights of fat-spun n-plied Polwarth, so I decided to add this to my pile of chubby n-plied Polwarth handspun.
All told, there’s about 267 yards of floofy deliciousness there.
I love the depth of the greens in this one. And despite the manhandling it’s gotten from being moved around stash for a couple of years, this drafted quite nicely. (Sometimes, the manhandling leads to compacted and gnarly-to-draft fibers…)
A cowl maybe?
Happy Monday, Friends!
