Isn’t it exciting to finish a thing?
This began as 4 ounces of Teeswater from Southern Cross Fibre in the colorway Festival Fuschia, and was spun into a sportweightish 2-ply yarn.
And is now an Autumn Vines Beret. Only, I don’t much like the way berets look on me, so I made mine more of a beanie.
I love the way the pattern flows through the decreases at the top. And I really like that tiny bit of i-cord that makes a little point in the middle. Really a fantastic pattern. Quite fiddly with all those cables, but I love the finished look.
See? It makes me happy. (Though I’m pretty sure it’s going to end up being shared between myself and the Little Bird. She really likes this color.)
Happy Monday, Friends!
