Not a Tricky Trickster at All

How about some finished handspun for your Thursday browsing?

Yes?

Here goes!

What began as 8 ounces of Polwarth from Southern Cross Fibre in the colorway Trickster (October 2012 Club):

Was spun (and spun) into a single around 22 wpi, as I was planning to n-ply it for something aran weight:

And we have yarn!

I stripped the top in half, and then in half again, aiming to get narrower stripes. And, once again, the SCF pretty much spins itself, then sits around casting come-hither eyes at you…

Because I’m sorta kinda hoping this’ll turn into a pair of funky, bright legwarmers. And oh boy, it’d be fun to cast on. But not yet.

Oh how fun! You had 8oz of it! I was wondering how you would get leg warmers from 4oz. :)
    It turned out beautifully!
