It’s the Apocalypse! And I’m Drowning in WIPs & Wool!

Just because the world hasn’t ended yet doesn’t mean it won’t. I mean, the 21st is all day long, right?

Kidding.

But seriously, if the world ended today, I’d feel really really bad for all the UFOs (that’s unfinished objects, for you muggles out there) sitting around, never getting to become FOs.

Sad. Sad, sad, sad.

So the world really can’t end today, you see. Because I need to finish more of these things.

I mean, there’s these mitts I’m making for my sister…

And there’s a half of two pairs of socks…

(which just goes to show that two socks don’t necessarily make a pair)…

There’s 11 shawls in progress. (That can’t really be right, can it? It can. Wow, that’s sort of embarrassing.)

And there’s…mumble-mumble pounds of wool waiting to be spun.

Really? I have to confess?

OK. You’d better sit down for this.

85

Not ounces.

Pounds.

You do know how light wool is, right?

(rolls eyes at self)

So you see, the world can’t end today. I have too much to do.

Happy Solstice, Friends! Happy Resurrection of Light!
